No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, no adverts. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be sent.
This policy covers the Phil's Fitness Cult app for iPhone and Android. It is short because there is very little to say.
Nothing at all.
The app has no user accounts and makes no network requests of its own. Your plan, your logged sessions, your week-by-week notes and your reminder settings are written to storage on your own phone and stay there. Nobody, including Phil, can see them.
What that means in practice: if you delete the app, that history is gone, and it cannot be recovered or restored by us — we never had a copy. An iPhone backup to iCloud will normally bring it back if you move to a new phone.
If you turn on run reminders, the schedule is held by iOS on your device. The reminder times you choose are stored on the phone alongside everything else and are never transmitted.
When you tap a share button, the app hands a short line of text to the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes — a chat, a note, the clipboard. The app does not post anything on your behalf and does not know where you sent it.
A few buttons open your browser: the WhatsApp group invite, the follow-along warm-up, cool-down and stretch videos on YouTube, and articles on this site. Once you leave the app, whatever privacy policy applies to that site or app applies instead of this one.
The app is not aimed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
The app does not connect to Apple Health, and does not read or write any health or fitness data on your device. What it knows about your running is only what you typed into it, and that never leaves the phone.
Rights of access, correction and erasure under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR all concern data held about you. As no data about you is collected or held, there is nothing for us to give you a copy of, correct, or delete.
To delete everything the app holds, use Settings → Reset and start over in the app, or delete the app.
There is no data held on any server to request, because none is sent to one.
If a future version of the app ever does send something to a server, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the app will say so plainly at the point it asks.
